7 Reasons Infratech heaters are the next big thing in indoor/outdoor heatingInfratech Heaters are eco-friendly

At Aterra we are always looking for the next game-changing product in home automation and technology. So when our New Products Specialist told us about Infratech heaters, we were excited. Here is why we believe these heaters are blowing their competition out of the water — and more importantly, why we think they should be in every new home.

1) They are eco-friendly

Emitting zero greenhouse gas emissions, Infratech heaters are also made from recyclable materials, making them a top choice for today’s environmentally friendly consumer.

2) They use infrared technology

Infrared technology is, in itself, one of the most efficient trends in heating today. It doesn’t get much better than this — a quartz-based core heats up and emits a safe wavelength that is only absorbed by solid objects around it (rather than just heating the air around it). This means that the heat does not blow away with a gust of wind, like it does with traditional heaters. Infrared heating is the best solution for any outdoor space (where you can’t actually control the wind… Unless you are Storm from X-Men…).

3) They are energy (and $) efficient

90% to be exact — as opposed to traditional gas heaters or fireplaces which convert less than 50% of their energy into heat. Electric heating also means easy use and practically no maintenance in the long run (i.e. no re-filling tanks). Infratech heaters also cost pennies an hour to operate, saving owners a lot of money for their outdoor heating over time.Infratech heating outdoor patio

4) They are customizable to fit your needs

Colors, sizes, controls, and even prices. Most importantly they come in four different mounting options (flush, ceiling, pole, wall) that can fit any outdoor space. Different product options also accommodate a variety of budgets!

5) They just look greatRecessedWoodCeilingHeater

Designed to fit any ambience, these heaters are low profile and low clearance, giving the space a clean look that doesn’t take away from the surrounding architecture. They are also glare-free, emitting a subtle warm glow, and are environmentally versatile.

6) They are safer than your average fireplace

As the heaters themselves are mounted from above, there is virtually no risk of burning by touching — you won’t have another potential hazard to be wary of when the grandkids are over! They are also odorless, emit no ultraviolet light, and also require no ventilation.

7) They are smart-tech capable
